It was the met gala yesterday and let’s just say we were disappointed.

First let’s look at the positives. There were more disabled bodies represented this year, some of which include cerebral palsy and dwarfism. Alex Consani was the first trans woman to be a part of the hosting committee. That’s about it.

Before we get into our favorite looks, here is the overall review. Those invited – for the majority – are tired, overplayed celebrities that stand for nothing else than being a part of the Hollywood ‘elite’. Not to mention, the biggest issue, the Met Gala being sponsored by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos, who also served as honorary chairs. A man who exploits millions and supports ICE by providing them with data necessary to deport innocent human beings. Oh and hardly anyone was on theme.
