Sometimes it is a little difficult to come up with New Year resolutions right off the cuff, so we came up with some resolutions while shopping the racks and trying on the clothes at Phoenix's own, Waste World Shop.

• Shop used clothing via local thrift stores (Waste World Shop in Phoenix) or through clothing swaps with friends!

• Spend less time doomscrolling and more time in your physical space.

• Be mindful with spending, will I want this two months from now?

• Move your body even if it is a walk up and down your street once a day.

• Support local businesses, try new snacks at your local market, find clothing at local stores.

• Lead with kindness, you'd be surprised how much it affects both your mood and those around you.

• Focus on your hobbies or discover a new one!

• Practice self-love, positive self-talk goes a long way.
