Where are you from?

I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama. But I grew up in New York, lived in Los Angeles, and Paris.

Melbourne, Australia 

 

What is your zodiac sign and do you align with it?

Aquarius,  I really do feel like I align with being an Aquarian. We are considered independent and seen as humanitarians. These are two traits I strive to achieve. 

 

What has dance taught you about yourself?

It’s taught me how important it is to tell stories. 

How stories can change our lives and those who watch us. 

 

What has your art allowed you to achieve?

I have been able to travel the world and experience culture around the world through dance. I’ve gotten to dance for different types of audiences in so many different spaces, and it’s allowed me to meet some of the most incredible people inside the dance world and within the cities that celebrate dance. 

 

What is your dream project?

I really enjoy producing dance work at the moment and bringing to life the work of talented dance creators. My dream would be to create or dance in a a work that can touch the next generation. I believe that all dance work has a story. 

 

Who would you like to inspire?

It’s important to me to inspire young dancers but also young audiences to keep dance as an artform alive. I want ballet and dance to stay relevant and an active art form for years to come.
